  • Fernando J. Ocon

    MD, FACOG

    Dr. Fernando J. Ocon is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and has been in practice in the Houston/Pasadena area since 1998. He completed his residency training at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, where he served as Administrative Chief Resident in 1994-1995.

    His other academic achievements include being honored as Chief Resident of the year in 1995. He is on staff at South East Memorial Hermann Hospital, HCA Southeast Hospital, Doctors Outpatient Surgery Center and is a clinical preceptor at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston.

    Dr. Ocon has made Houston/Pasadena his permanent home and is committed to developing lifelong relationships with his patients and being a part of their birthing experience and gynecological care.

    He has spent many years practicing minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, general gynecology and continues to deliver babies. He offers his patients the most-updated surgical technology for their gynecological care, including in-office procedures such as endometrial ablation and sterilization under local or no anesthesia, so his patients may return to their normal activities within a short time, sometimes the same or next day.

    We, at Womenʼs Health Specialists of Pasadena also provide the following services: Prenatal care and deliveries, Gynecological surgery, ultrasounds, health maintenance, well woman exam and others.

    Dr. Ocon is fluent in Spanish and English.

  • Jackie Perez (Formerly Delgado)

    MD, FACOG

    Dr. Jackquelin Perez completed her residency training in Obstetrics & Gynecology at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas. She obtained her Medical Degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio in 2006. Prior to her medical training, she obtained a Masters Degree in Biology from the University of Houston - Clear Lake in 2001 and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Spanish from Baylor University in 1999. Dr. Perez was the recipient of the Gold Foundation Humanism & Excellence in Teaching Award in 2008, the Excellence in Academics Award in 2010, and the Outstanding Chief Resident Academic & Research Award in 2010. Dr. Perez recently won the Blue Ribbon Award for her research, which was presented at the American College of Obstetricians & Gynecologists Annual Clinical Meeting in San Francisco in May 2010; her research findings were subsequently published in the July 2010 issue of OB-Gyn News.

    Dr. Perez offers comprehensive care for women throughout their lifetime, from pregnancy and childbirth to the treatment of abnormal uterine bleeding, menopause, and urinary incontinence. Special interests include minimally invasive laparoscopic surgery, urodynamics testing with the placement of suburethral slings for urinary incontinence, bilateral tubal occlusion via Essure, endometrial ablation, and laparoscopic & vaginal hysterectomies. Dr. Perez is a native resident of Pasadena, Texas, which she has called home for over 20 years. Hobbies include traveling, spending time with friends and family, boating, hiking, cycling, jogging, and dancing.

  • Tori Skelton

    FNP-C

    Tori Skelton is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over 15 years of experience in nursing.

    As a Registered Nurse, Tori had the opportunity to develop a wide experience base including family health, pediatrics, and women’s health. This experience has provided a strong foundation that she draws on as a Nurse Practitioner, with the extensive skills developed from her nursing career that ensures patients will receive the best care possible.

    Tori began her nursing studies at San Jacinto College earning an Associate Degree in nursing. She followed by attending The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston where she was awarded a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and then furthered her education by earning a Master of Science in Nursing from the same university.

    Tori is passionate about the opportunity to care for others in regards to health and wellness. She is able to provide care from adolescents to older age women. Her focus includes routine wellness (Well Woman Exam”), birth control, nutrition, episodic, prenatal and postpartum care, disease prevention and education.

    Tori will be working in close association and cooperation with Dr Fernando Ocon and Dr Jackqueline Perez.

    Tori’s hobbies include reading, spending time with family and friends, tennis, and cooking. She lives in the Clear Lake area with her husband and two children.
